His travel schedule is amazingly extensive and demonstrates His selfless loving kindness in bringing Dharma into the hearts and minds of westerners.

He cheerfully admits that he has received no formal training in the English language and the "...little He knows, has been obtained by listening to the translators at other teachings, given by other High Lamas". In my most humble opinion, as an immigrant to Canada from England, I find both His vocabulary and use of English are remarkable; perhaps He learned the language in an earlier lifetime?

He is universally renowned as the Lineage Master of Phowa teachings in the oral transmission tradition.

l have nothing but love and admiration of His Excellence and dedicate my accumulated merit to Him so that He may continue to guide all living beings to excellent rebirths for many eons.

Most respectfully and humbly submitted,

Jennifer Cheeseman.

Re: Self-Immolation in Buddhist Tradition

Other reviews of the book can be found here:
http://ccs.ncl.edu.tw/Newslett...

http://www.journals.uchicago.e...

http://journals.cambridge.org/...

http://muse.jhu.edu/login?uri=...

http://www.h-net.org/reviews/s...
Re: Journey into Buddhism – Winnipeg/Vancouver

Sorry, I don't know.
